¡Los hermanos otakus Tamotsu y Niwaka Denkigai están comprando en Akihabara cuando es invadido por monstruos vampíricos cosplay! Estas criaturas, conocidas como "Insectas," pueden poseer a cualquier persona que muerden y pronto comienzan a causar caos en toda la ciudad. Cuando Tamotsu se encuentra a merced de una de estas criaturas, es rescatado por el misterioso bate de béisbol Matome Mayonaka. Juntos, luchan a través de varios encuentros más con los Insectos, pero en poco tiempo, Tamotsu está herido de muerte protegiendo a Matome. Sin otra opción, ella lo revive como un Bugged One de alto nivel, ¡igual que ella!
